Tonight President Trump ordered an attack on Syria following the chemical attack in their own country on Tuesday.
Senator Rand Paul took to Twitter to condemn the attack tonight:
While we all condemn the atrocities in Syria, the United States was not attacked.

Trump had a similar position in 2013 when President Obama was considering a U.S.-led strike on Syria.

Since the advent of 30-minute nuclear holocaust there has been no time to gather the congress for deliberation. Nearly instant response from the Commander-in-Chief is required daily. Long term commitment is still a constitutional area. I’m for you in ’20.
