After inaugurating a second headquarters in the Camaguey province and having their officers arrested and released, the Libertarian Party of Cuba is back to business.
Members of the Havana party took to the streets to protest the Communist government sending troops to Venezuela to assist them in fighting the democratic uprising. The state has denied sending troops to the Socialist government, but photos and reports from the Cuban Libertarians have squashed these lies.

This is not the first time the two governments have assisted each other, as the Cuban government sent troops to train Venezuela’s military and assist with communication technology for their security forces in 2010.
The Partido Libertario Cubano – Jose Marti will also be protesting for the release of Ubaldo Herrera Hernandez and Manuel Velazquez Visea, two members of the Instituto Mises Cubano (now Instituto Mises-Mambi) who were arrested for refusing to show ID to the state police.
Ubaldo and Manuel’s trial will be held this morning and the Havana Libertarians plan on attending the trial to “demand justice and freedom.” The party expects all members to be arrested.
