POLL: Sarwark Favorite LNC Chair Candidate

This poll was conducted by 134 of currently 312 members of the Libertarian Vindicator Polling Committee, a group that aims to have 10 libertarians, both party members and non-party members, from each state, including the District of Columbia, for a total of 510 members that seeks to create representative data of libertarians across the United States. The poll was conducted using polldaddy.com.

Nicholas Sarwark, current Chairman of the Libertarian party, lead the Libertarian Vindicator’s first published Chairman candidate poll with 47.01% of the vote, only 19% ahead of Washington Libertarian, Joshua Smith who got 28.36%. What could be the deciding factor at the 2018 convention is who can convince the 24.63% who voted “none of the above” to vote for them. Should Smith be able to convince the majority of these libertarians, he could win the Chairman election by a slim margin.

  • Of the following candidates for Chairman of the Libertarian Party, who would you vote for?
    • Nicholas Sarwark, 47.01%
    • Joshua Smith, 28.36%
    • None of the above, 24.63%

  1. Mr. Smith is a joke! He cannot hold a job, housing and is in debt. Obviously, he is unstable with his own life; why would I want to vote for that?
