Meet Joe Hauptmann, Candidate For Libertarian Party Vice Chairman

The race for the next Libertarian Party Vice Chairman will certainly be a competitive one as a fourth candidate, Joe Hauptmann, has announced his candidacy for the position.

Hauptmann has been an activist in the party for 39 years and in his tenure has served in many capacity’s including state chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana, a Regional Representative for the LP National Committee, and as a member of the Libertarian Party’s National Platform Committee.

The Libertarian has also run many campaigns including two runs for a congressional seat, Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Representative. He also helped the Johnson/Weld campaign as the Indiana Co-Coordinator and Campus Coordinator and was an Indiana Coordinator for Ed Clark’s 1980 presidential race.
