With just under a week until the start of the Libertarian Party of Colorado’s convention, it is sure to be one hell of a party with some of the top Libertarian minds making their way to the Liberty City, Denver Colorado.
If you have nothing to do this coming weekend and you either live in Colorado or have some spare money sitting around, make your way to Denver and check out the convention of the year!
The Libertarian Vindicator will be there for parts of the convention covering key moments and highlights.
Here is all the information from the LP Colorado site:
The 2017 Libertarian Party of Colorado State Convention is right around the corner on March 24-26, 2017 at the Westin Hotel in Westminster Colorado, the home city of Party co-founder the late David Nolan and the birthplace of the Libertarian Party (it shares that honor with Colorado Springs). Our line-up of speakers include Laura Ebke, Austin Petersen, Arvin Vohra, Steve Kerbel, Apollo Pazzel, David K. Williams, Ron Gowins, Sarah Stewart, Corey Fauconier, and Caryn Ann Harlos and MORE including a panel discussion on alternative voting methods such as Approval Voting and Ranked Choice Voting.
You can buy your tickets HERE.
If attending Party business only, please RSVP here.
There will be a panel discussion on various methods and philosophies towards achieving Libertarian solutions at our fabulous Saturday banquet gala and on Friday night we have Ryan Chrs and the Rough Cuts booked to give us an awesome night of entertainment. The party will also include casino-style games and dancing (WOOT! WOOT!). This will be a Convention to remember as we push our country forward into a Libertarian future with our theme of “Liberty City.”
Party business, including officer elections, and governing documents amendments (Platform, Constitution, and Bylaws) will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are no fees or tickets required to attend the Party Business Sessions. Any member of the public may attend, but only persons registered with the State of Colorado as Libertarians for at least ninety days immediately prior to the day the first such meeting convenes are eligible to vote as per our Party Constitution.
We also have sponsorship packages, including booths and brochure advertising, are phenomenal, and there is no better way to promote your business or cause AND help the Libertarian Party of Colorado.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE FREE FOLK THAT HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
