TSA Launches “Invasive” Pat-Downs With “More Intimate Contact Than Before”

Not that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was ever considerate of people’s personal space they have now ramped up their procedures after “reports” that more weapons have made it past their security screenings than ever before.

From The Ron Paul Liberty Report:

As a result of a study, which found that weapons routinely make it past airport security, the TSA is introducing “more rigorous” and “comprehensive” physical inspections at airports around the country, according to Bloomberg. The security agency, which until now had the option of using five different types of physical pat-downs in the screening line, is eliminating the “options” and replacing them with a single, universal method which would involve heavier groping.

The Transportation Security Administration made the announcement to its agents this week, and in the case of Denver International Airport employees, advised employees and flight crews on Thursday that the “more rigorous” searches “will be more thorough and may involve an officer making more intimate contact than before.”

We have been living in this world ever since 9/11 that involves heavy violations of our basic right’s as citizens and even though there hasn’t been an attack like we saw in 2001 we still continue this ramped up the screening in hopes that we will catch people that might be terrorists.

Innocent people are becoming the victim of sexual assault every time they pass through airport security. We continue this tradition in the name of national security when really we are just violating the constitutional rights of our citizens.

That said, the agency has been ridiculed for years for causing delays at airports and being largely ineffective at detecting contraband. The good news is that while passengers may find the new patdown more intrusive, Anderson promised that the new screening procedure isn’t expected to increase overall airport security delays. However, “for the person who gets the pat down, it will slow them down.”

It hasn’t worked and it won’t work. Deterrence from a crime doesn’t happen through clear rights violations it happens when we create a culture of freedom and stop the assault on our liberty.

When will it stop? When will America wake up and realize that we live in a police state and tyranny has taken hold? This is not national security this is a clear violation of natural rights and needs to stop.

Tyranny or Anarchy? If people did not persist in defying well established law by trying to bring guns, yes actual weapons, aboard airplanes the TSA would probably not subject my underwire bra to further scrutiny. You’re aware, of course, that the TSA only knows this because it’s paid security consultants to try to sneak contraband past the screeners.
So the TSA pays security experts to sneak guns and other weapons through security checkpoints, and they conclude that everyday Americans need to be groped more because a security expert snuck a weapon past the security checkpoint.
That’s like the police department setting up more random sobriety checkpoints because too many of its officers are getting into accidents in their squad cars while intoxicated.
